About BedTime O'Clock
BedTime O’Clock (BTOC) is a French learning program based on a for-profit for-purpose business model. I offer online courses, private & group lessons but also free online resources.
BTOC was created as a mean to connect with people and sharing a skill in a positive, upbeat and caring atmosphere. I understand that learning a new skill can be a challenging and sometimes overwhelming process so I am here to make sure you enjoy the ride and get to reach your goal. And on that note, feel free to check my blog post on useful things to keep in mind before embarking on your learning journey.
I really want the products I create to serve a greater purpose than my pay check. Obviously, I am aware that I need to make profits to keep BTOC (and technically myself, too) running and hopefully growing. Yet, I hope I can do so while promoting the values I believe in. Diversity, inclusion, and the power of education are at the core of my business which is why giving back in any way I can matters to me. I believe that now more than ever, being different should be a norm, and never a drawback and if you’d like to know more about BTOC’s mission, check out this blog post.
Oh hello there! My name is Mounia and I am a French native speaker + teacher currently based in London. I am the author of a novel called Celebration (in English) and Nos Jours de Fêtes (in French). I am also the founder of BedTime O’Clock and of the eponymous website meaning I create all the content and newsletters.

Course Information
Hopefully, some decent French. Okay, more seriously now, I teach all levels from complete beginners all the way to conversational and professional French. My lessons are based on the Common European Framework (from A1 to C2 level) and on your personal needs, goals, and availability. I teach both online and face-to-face (in London).
A 1-hour lesson is typically a combination of one grammar point + one vocabulary point + either some conversation practice or pronunciation focus.
Although I do provide a lot of the course material, I will also recommend you purchase a book (between £20 – £25). We will use the book for every lesson.
Course books are not included in the course fees. Please note that a course book often covers more than one level. So if you progress to the next course, you may not necessarily need to buy a new book.
If you are unable to attend a lesson, please let me know via email or by leaving a comment on the course online platform.
You will also be able to access the course material and homework on the course online platform.
Payments, Refunds & Cancellations
I want you to be as happy and as comfortable as possible on your course so please let me know as soon as possible if you think that the level of the course is too high or low for you.
If you would like to change to another course level taking place on the same term, you will need to request a transfer in writing, via email, in the first 2 weeks of your 10 week course.
You can switch classes up until your 3rd lesson.
As per our Terms and Conditions, refund or deferral applications made fourteen (14) days or less before the course start date cannot be accepted. No refunds are available and you will no longer be able to transfer your booking to a later start date.
For full information on cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
If you’re unable to attend a scheduled private lesson, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
Lessons cancelled less that 24 hours before will be charged in full.
